Pursuing a doctoral degree while working full-time and managing personal responsibilities presents a unique set of challenges and rewards. This roundtable invites participants—whether they are exploring doctoral programs, currently enrolled, or have completed—to reflect on their motivations, evaluate the personal and professional impact of doctoral study, and share lived experiences. Together, we’ll explore the distinctions between PhD and EdD programs, discuss strategies for balancing competing demands, and engage in a reflection to help participants determine their next steps on the doctoral journey.
