Senior year can be a drag; we've all been there. Now add being a student leader to the mix. Senior student leaders often take a step back or overcompensate in their roles, leaving supervisors wondering what's changed. In this Learning Lab, we'll explore why senior leaders disengage and how to recognize the signs in your own teams. Using student development and leadership theories, we'll understand where seniors are coming from and how we, as Graduate Assistants and supervisors, can best support them. Through guided discussion and reflection, you'll leave with practical insights and strategies to keep your senior leaders engaged.
