Succession planning often gets pushed aside until it’s too late—whether from retirements, sudden departures, or new opportunities. This learning lab explores how higher education professionals can use artificial intelligence (AI) in transition planning to ensure knowledge, processes, and resources don’t vanish. Participants will practice identifying available AI tools, structuring information storage, and leveraging AI for duty transitions. By the end, attendees will leave with strategies to reduce disruption, minimize the “help us” emails from former employers, and create a sustainable legacy for their team.
