Concurrent Session #3
Unreasonable hospitality, defined by Will Guidara as "the remarkable power of giving people more than they expect", was originally conceived in the restaurant industry but extends far beyond. This philosophy can root daily practice and interactions across all fields, offering new purpose and perspective. In this interactive session, participants will learn what this concept entails, explore how it can be integrated into higher education, and engage in design thinking to translate unreasonable hospitality into action. Attendees will leave with practical ideas for application and new connections built through meaningful discussion and reflection.
