Bridging Purpose and Process: Turning Data and Change into Meaningful Student Impact
Clark Tieman, Todd Thomas

Concurrent Session #1

Student affairs professionals are often caught between purpose and process—balancing their passion for development with the demands of assessment, accountability, and institutional change. Explore how to bridge that gap by transforming data and processes into tools for storytelling, advocacy, and sustainability. Drawing from experiences in leadership education, project management, and consulting, we’ll demonstrate how change management frameworks and assessment practices can work together to create programs that are both mission-driven and measurable.
