As technology, media, and culture have evolved, interpersonal violence has taken on new forms; understanding these changes is instrumental in providing adequate violence prevention education on college campuses. This session will briefly discuss current common violence prevention initiatives and forthcoming forms of violence that need to be addressed. The session focuses on opportunities for collaboration with students to understand violence-related concerns and challenges on campuses utilizing a collaborative visioning model. The session will end with a discussion of how violence prevention could evolve on your campus in order to address emerging challenges.
