OCPA is excited for our upcoming Annual Conference on January 30 & 31st at the Doubletree Hotel in Worthington, Ohio! Our theme this year is Balance: Promoting Professional and Personal Thriving.
As higher education professionals we understand the importance of life balance both for our students and ourselves. How do you encourage your students, coworkers, friends, and family to take that much-needed self-care? How do you do self-care?
We understand that our members have a great deal of knowledge to share and to limit it to a specific area would not be conducive to our organization's mission. Therefore, your proposal does not need to be related to the conference theme. We encourage you to submit a proposal about topics related to what you have learned, your area of expertise, changes in policy, or how your institution is navigating challenges. Of course topics related to how you are promoting or creating balance are welcome! The possibilities for sessions could be endless!
