2020 Careers in Student Affairs Conference

This year's theme is “Exploring your Bridge to the Future” and the conference offers opportunities to:

• Network and build lasting connections with current and future Higher Education and Student Affairs practitioners at all levels, undergraduate students, graduate (Master’s & Doctoral) students, and faculty.
• Discover and explore various ‘tracks’ or career paths that include Higher Education and Student Affairs.
• Engage in a Graduate School and Career Fair to learn about graduate and doctoral program options and requirements as well as job opportunities within and near the state of Ohio.
• Participate in a mentorship program to connect interested folks one-on-one with practitioners in the field.

As you may have seen in our previous communication (linked here), this year's conference will represent the inaugural Careers Conference that includes the Graduate Student Affairs Conference (GSAC) experience.
 

Call for Program Proposals is now open!

Please consider submitting a program proposal and encourage graduate students, new professionals, functional area experts, and others to propose presentations at tinyurl.com/CSAC2020.

Topics should focus on the conference theme or outcomes and will span a wide array of topics. To submit a program proposal please complete this OCPA Careers Conference Proposal Form. 

Special Circumstances and Financial Assistance:
It is important to us that everyone is able to access this conference regardless of financial means. If you are interested in attending but unable to pay the registration fee, please email Jivanto van Hemert, conference chair (jivanto@ohio.edu) to make alternate arrangements. 

Registrations are always transferable to another person. Refunds are not available.
