Join us for presentations on a more intimate scale, maybe more within budget or within travel limitations. This drive-in will host 4 presenters, up to 50 attendees and lunch! This is a great opportunity to meet colleagues in the area or catch up with those you know!
Schedule:

10:00am – To Survey or Not to Survey: The First Important Question
Presenter: Kristen Lindsay, Ph.D., University of Findlay
--- Thinking about a survey? Explore survey options, as well as survey alternatives to get the data you need to
make informed decisions. We'll also review steps to prepare for positive data collection and survey
implementation experience

11:00am – Resigning Women: The Great Resignation and Institutional Considerations on Staff Considering Leaving Higher Education
Presenter: Angela Clark-Taylor, Ph.D, Case Western Reserve University
Non-instructional staff are over 60% of the higher education workforce, they are also predominantly women at
60% and women of color at 31%. This lecture will consider implications from a national study on women-
aligned staff in higher education that explores experiences of women staff with campus climate, personal and
workplace trauma, career satisfaction, and professional development.

1:00pm – Who's Up Next?: Gen Alpha, What We Know So Far
Presenter: Julie Humbel-Courtney, Ph.D, The Ohio State University
---Although the eldest members of Generation Alpha (people born from 2010-2025) are in middle school, and
the youngest members have yet to be born, our campus communities will soon be preparing to educate a new
generation. This brief learning lab will share some of the scholarship and findings regarding what is currently
known about Generation Alpha's preferences, attitudes, and learning behaviors.

2:00pm – Reflecting on Your Experience and Setting Your Next Leadership Goal
Presenter: Angela Clark-Taylor, Ph.D., Case Western Reserve University
Coupling space for individual reflection with structured partner sharing, sessions focused on reflections will have
you identifying the values, strengths, and interests driving your career. Gain insights about what types of
environments you thrive in, share stories with fellow attendees, and define what success looks and feels like to
you. Attendees will leave with a concrete action step for reaching your next professional goal.
