Dear OCPA Members,
With the rapidly evolving information about COVID-19, we’ve entered an experience that is unlike what any of us intended, expected (or even in our wildest dreams could have imagined) for Spring 2020. We understand the impact this is having for many of our colleagues, students, and communities around the state. In an effort to aid the management of some portion of that impact, we offer the following:
OCPA-specific COVID-19 Resource Twitter chat:
Use #OCPAchat to join us at anytime between 9am and 3pm on Thursday, March 19th to share resources, ask questions, and connect with colleagues as we all work together to navigate this unparalleled situation. Our hope is this digital & asynchronous approach will provide OCPA members access to critical collaborative resources and support the ever-evolving and varied commitments we each have on our respective campuses.
Updated OCPA Application/ Election process:
In recognition of the significant and ongoing disruption to our campus communities, we've made the determination to extend the application for OCPA Executive Board positions until Thursday, April 2nd. We encourage you to review the General Responsibilities, Desirable Characteristics, and Job Descriptions available at this link and to apply at this link. The updated timeline is as follows:
4/2/2020 – Application Closes
4/3/2020 – Election Opens
4/10/2020 – Election Closes
4/16/2020– Announcement
We realize this is a challenging time. We are here to support you and wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Colette M. Masterson, Ph.D., OCPA President & Director of the Center for Student Involvement, Otterbein University
Ardy Gonyer, Ph.D., OCPA Past-President
Mark Zeno, President-Elect & Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Heidelberg University
